HEAnet will be updating the database on its media service (media.heanet.ie). The HEAnet media service will be be available in read only mode, users will not be able to upload videos during this time, however users will be able to watch videos. This will last for 20minutes.

Upcoming Work on The HEAnet Data Centre Network Fleet starts: (11:00 09.04.2025) RESOLVED

Please be advised of this upcoming work on the HEAnet data centre network fleet.
As the current fleet will soon be end of life, HEAnet will be integrating a new data centre network fleet with the current data centre fleet in their Parkwest DC.
The work will involve connecting the present data centre network to the new data centre network in this window. This will allow for the gradual and controlled migration of services from the present infrastructure to the new infrastructure over the next couple of months.
This work is due to take place on the 9th of April 2025, within a window of 09:00 to 17:00.
Note that in this work window, only the management network between the two networks will be brought up. Services on the present network will remain there and we do not envisage impact to services as a result.
